My sculpture revolves around a dystopian future with references to the past, universal myth, fairy tales, etc. Lots of hope and fear, lots of layers. The sculptures often contain personal issues that could just as easily be universal issues; aging, loss, disappointment. I think of the layers within the artworks as fun puzzles. I enjoy all the conflicts they elicit: cute versus scary, etc. I work in a variety of materials, forms and disciplines depending on what I want to accomplish with a piece. You will see photographs, jewelry, sculpture and clothing.
