CAROLINE HALL
Ms. Caroline Hall is an artist, art teacher, Department Chair, and member of Residential Life at The Pennington School. Over the last twenty-one years Caroline has worked in many different aspects of the school. In the classroom she teaches art to all of the middle school students and to any upper school students who take Art I, II, III, IV and/or AP Studio Art. Offering open studio hours after school and in the evenings, Caroline supervises the art making spaces and encourages art making for all! For many years Caroline worked behind the scenes on the plays and musicals working with the students building the sets and sewing the costumes, she continues to co-teach a technical theatre class in Middle School. Residentially, Caroline has lived in all three dormitories, serving as a dormitory head for the girls in Buck Hall and moving on to the Assistant Director of Residential Life while living in Old Main. She now resides with her husband and 7 year old son in Becher Hall as a hall parent. Caroline loves encouraging her students in class and in the dorms to find their inner artist or to at least try and explore their worlds with an artistic lens. Her studio is any space she can find to draw, design, paint and sculpt. When not in the studio, Caroline is in the garden or in the woods being inspired by nature for her artistic creations.
