Cecile Bruck was born in France. Her father was a well respected artist and sculptor and received the Legion of Honor from the French government prior to his death in 2023. In many ways , Cecile is caring on the approach to art that her father used. She brings a touch of surrealism to her paintings and frequently paints creative, fantasy and subconscious visions of realistic subjects. For more than 20 years she fallowed her passion for animals and was a comparative horse trainer. During that time, she studied the movement and anatomy of these large animals. As a result her paintings of horses reveal studies into the animals structure and grace. Cecile’s preferred medium is oil on wood. She has shown her art in several shows including Phillips mill and other local spots in Hunterdon and Mercer Counties.
