Shirley Arnold Kern is an abstract painter. She received her Master of Fine Arts degree from Northern Vermont University, Bachelor of Arts from University of Southern Indiana and Bachelor of Science in Education from Indiana University, Bloomington. She attended additional studies in New York at the School of Visual Arts, Manhatten Graphics Center, Robert Blackburn Printmaking and the Art Students League.
